A Quick Bodybuilding “Trick” to Lift More

A Quick Bodybuilding “Trick” To Lift More Weight…INSTANTLY!
How would you like to INSTANTLY be able to lift 10–20% more weight on your very next set of Bench Press, Lat Pulldowns, Bicep Curls, or Tricep Pushdowns?
Yes, that’s right…INSTANTLY lift more weight!
Well, today I have a little known “trick” I use during the most intense training weeks of my “Advanced Mass Building Program” that will help you lift bigger…and GET bigger!
Here’s what to do…
Right before you get ready for your next training set, stretch your targeted muscle group’s ANTAGONIST muscles!
(“Antagonist” means that muscles’ “opposite” muscle group. In other words, chest vs. back; biceps vs. triceps; etc.)
For example, before you get ready to knock out a set of Barbell Bench Presses, FIRST stretch your BACK muscles (your “lats”) right before you lay down on the bench.
By stretching your antagonist muscle groups, you trigger a short term “rebound” reaction from the opposite muscle group’s muscle fibers.
The result is heightened activation of the fibers and central nervous system and you’ll find yourself IMMEDIATELY stronger in your lifts!
Simple…but an EFFECTIVE technique to help you power through those sets a bit stronger…and jack up your muscle gains a smidgen more!
(Oh, and for you soldiers out there, try this trick right before hitting your knees for the pushup portion of your PT test! You’re guaranteed to add a few more points!)

I tried this and it works. I will definitely use it in the future to help me work out harder
Every body wants to gain muscle fast without being introduced with the basic bodybuilding. But thats doesn’t work cause learning the basic is necessary in every course of action without that nothing can be achieved .
where is the remainder of the article…after it says “for you soldiers out there”, etc, etc, or was the preceding paragraph the “trick”?
The “trick” is what is mentioned above that paragraph…the information starting under this line: “Here’s what to do…”
I never heard of no lifting weights until after basic which doesnt really matter yet stretching is so important the other day I did so many shoulder workouts that my whole shoulders sent out.
Also dont scream so much that someone food poisons me with a fish lure that hardly ever comes back out
How to get ready for basic training??
For getting ready for basic training, I found it best to work on endurance training…
Start building up the number of pushups you can do by doing them ALL DAY LONG…to failure!
Begin running now to get your legs in shape for the extended low intensity abuse they’re about to go through. Between marching and running everywhere, you need to start conditioning your body early to work at a higher level of output all day long.
This will help you transition much easier than the guys who did nothing but eat doughnuts and watch the Simpsons all day long before hitting Basic.
And speaking of doughnuts…lay off them!
If you show up to Basic overweight, it’s going to be a LOT harder both mentally and physically. Basic isn’t a “fat camp” and there’s no support group to help you through. Harden yourself BEFORE you get there!
Jeff,
I am currently started your CTF program (week 2) and have enjoyed it thus far. I am getting into shape to enter the military chaplaincy (Army). My current goal is to get to 24% body fat then my goal before going to training in summer 09, is reaching 180lbs. Thanks for your program and all you do for those in the military and those trying to get back in. Hooah.

Its been about 50 years since boot camp but I have always been into physical fitness. Since I worked in Public Safety most of my life, keeping in shape was a priority for me. When I reached my mid sixties, I became discouraged to find myself loosing what little I had. Not talking mental here but physical. Thanks to Jeff andersons’s help, I have been recouping some losses and some advances have been truly outstanding. Even his free videos are a big help. Thanks Jeff. Old Bob
